Bavarian Nordic
Before you can give someone a vaccination, you have to get their attention. While anyone can catch mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, it poses a higher risk for those in the LGBTQ+ community. Bavarian Nordic, a vaccine manufacturer, wanted to connect with those considered most at-risk. They chose CVR to develop an educational and empowering campaign that encouraged vaccination.

Empowered Against Mpox
Making that connection meant we had to understand our audience, learn their obstacles to vaccination, and tell the story authentically. Our efforts had to reflect the people we were trying to reach. By developing a relevant story and placing media where the audience can be found, we created a campaign that was genuine and sincere—compelling people to stay connected without letting mpox get in the way.
